Outing without helpers

Over the weekends, we brought our three kids out by ourselves without any helpers.

OK… you parents out there may think that it should be relatively easy.... but it is the first time we are doing it alone with three kids. We reached the mall at 11.30am and left at 12.45pm. This is what they are up to:-

The boys - played and ran around the mall. Yup, they literally went wild and ran around. Don’t understand why, not that I never bring them to the mall before???
Daddy - browses through the items in Gap, trying to get some stuff, came out empty handed…have to look out for the kids…..
Sara, since she gained her independence, she wants to walk all the time. She does not want to be carried or hold on too. When Sara is out of her pram, Shayne wants in. Sean pushed him… they created havoc and knocked the pram onto shoppers feet.
Me – trying to control these three kids….

Three active kids running loose = real chaos. After this bad experience, I have to bring at least one of our helpers out next time.

Anyway… grievances aside…my SIL will be coming down this Wed again. Glad that she can help out. I have to get her a real nice X’mas gift. She is under a lot of stress when she goes out with the kids too, especially Shayne. Shayne refused to listen and wants his way all the time. She keeps a look-out for Shayne ALL the time as she worried that he may get lost in the crowd.
