We are down with one helper this passed week… Yup, I am still surviving well, but a little tired though. Sara is sleeping with us after Ivy left on 26 Dec 08. I had enough of her nonsense and sent her off to the maid agency on 26 Dec 08 instead of 1 Jan 09.

Looking after Sara at night again…how time flies… it has been 11 months since she slept with us….. It seems like only yesterday huh?. I’ll jump out of the bed whenever she makes the slightest noise at night. I need to shuffle between the boys’ room and our room to check on the boys. These left me with only 4- 5 hours of sleep every night. Ok, stop the complaint… this is a fraction of what MOTHERHOOD is all about. Ya, ok, just bear with me for another one… yesterday I stayed up till 3 am, guess what – as Sean was suffering from a mild food poisoning episode, he slept so much in the afternoon and evening that he cannot sleep at night. So his mommy dearest, me, has to stay up with him. He read, I read, he read again…. I read again…. again and again ….way into the night…. *yawn*

These passed few days, I woke up at 6am to feed Sara. She takes her last feed at 11pm and the next feed at 6am. As I can’t get back to sleep after feeding her, so with 45 mins of time, I did quilting and patchwork. That’s my new found hobby. Current project:- a blanket for Sara.

CNY is only less than a month away. In our current situation, I suppose we are not going back to KL for CNY. The indo helper, Sutriyah, went back to the agent as she failed her entrance exam again. We will give Sutriyah another chance, if she fails this time, we would have no choice but to change to another helper. The Phil helper, Femilyn, came to our place two days ago. So far so good. My SIL did a great job in training them. We are keeper our fingers-crossed, hope she will fit into our family.
